Your tasks

  • Calling upon small to medium sized window and door fabricators to sell SFS hinges and fasteners primarily, supported with a range of tools and ancillaries
  • Developing a regular round of customers to fill A4.5 day active week, typically 8-10 customer calls per day, depending upon geographical location
  • Working typically within the Midlands, taking in DE, NG, LEB, ST, TF, DY, WR and WS postcode area
  • Offering level 1 technical support to customers on best practice and quality issues which might arise on a daily basis
  • Handling any quality or service issues that customers may experience
  • Maintain van stocks and inventory in line with customer requirements
  • Restock the van weekly from delivery to customers works in agreement with partner customers

Your profile

  • Self motivated with clear ambitions to progress
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT competencies on Microsoft Office programs and bespoke IT software
  • Previous experience in reporting and sales administration
  • A proven track record in a sales environment
  • The ability to create accurate and grammatically correct correspondence to customers and colleagues as required
  • A working knowledge of the SAP business system
  • Knowledge of the windows industry
  • A general Knowledge of an engineering environment
